swipe eat meet bios
Meet the creators of Swipe Eat Meet, husband and wife team Brandon and Porsche Lee. Being
married or in a relationship, probably has you and your significant other asking the question
“What do you want to eat?” only to have “I don’t know” as the response on a regular basis, and
even after 7 years it is no different for us. The idea for the app started off as a joke as we set in
quarantine and scrolled on Facebook just like the rest of the world in Spring 2020. At the same
time this provided the perfect opportunity to plan, design and ultimately release Swipe Eat Meet
in November 2020. Although it was created with couples in mind, it is by no means exclusive to
couples but is also a great resource between parents and kids or between friends meeting up.
During the planning process we wanted to make sure two things were included- new meals
ideas that we can prepare at home, and making sure we can use the app away from home.
During the summer we love to travel for both vacation as well as AAU track meets, so it was
important to us that this app can be on the go because half of the fun in traveling is experiencing
the local restaurants.
